December 2007: KD Aubert, one of Hollywood’s most promising up-and-coming actresses, has recently signed on to star as the new face of popular lifestyle brand, Southpole Clothing.
“We are very excited about teaming up with Insomnia Media Group to work exclusively with KD for our 2008 campaigns. Being that we target a diverse consumer market and age group, her look and attitude is a perfect match for our brand,” adds Janice Welles, Director of Marketing for Southpole. “2008 promises to be a great year for both KD and Southpole, and we look forward to the opportunity for us to grow together.”
Southpole recently shot their Spring/Summer 2008 campaign with Aubert on location in Miami, Florida at the Green Span mansion. Aubert modeled over five looks from Southpole’s Juniors collection featuring some of the season’s hottest trends including nautical, colorful plaids, metallic accents, sports chic and bold prints.
“The clothes are really comfortable and fun, and the shoes --- HOT!” exclaims Aubert while striking a pose on a custom, canary yellow convertible Jaguar during the shoot.
Under the management of Insomnia Media Group, Aubert has appeared on the big screen in films such as The Scorpion King, Friday After Next, Soul Plane, Hollywood Homicide, and In the Mix. Aubert will be seen alongside Woody Harrelson in The Grand in January 2008 and opposite Matthew McConaughey in next summer’s Surfer Dude.
On the small screen, Aubert has had starring roles in CSI NY, Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Clueless. She also co-hosted MTV's Kidnapped. Aubert's talents have also led her to the behind-the-scenes business of producing and establishing a production deal with the only independent production/ management company on the Universal lot, Insomnia Media Group (IMG).
“This has been such an amazing year for me, and signing on as the new face for Southpole clothing is the icing on the cake! Between the movies and the fashion, I am really focusing on taking my career to the next level,” says Aubert.
KD’s national ads for Southpole are slated to hit magazines and billboards in March 2008. |
